I'm Kind of a Big Deal
I'm just so full of awesome that I had to get some of it out.

So, I'm sitting at work and this sweet little old lady starts yelling:
"I have to S-H-I-T-T!"
"I have to S-H-I-T-T right noooow!"

So, I found a CNA to help me and we took her to the bathroom, where she did, in fact, s-h-i-t. After all was said and done, she says to us, "Oh, thank you girls. How much do I owe you?"

HAHAHAHAHA

I have to say that my life in the nursing home is interesting. I absolutely LOVE it. I know I am meant to be there. I love being home in the evenings. I get to see the kids more, I'm not nearly as grouchy and I don't even have to take the ol' AD's anymore. I got my rosy spectacles back!

The kids are doing very well in school, they are healthy, as am I, and they want entirely too much for Christmas. (Have you seen how much the new PS3 is? Um.. if not, it's $600, not including a freaking GAME. Jeebus.)

Needless to say, they won't be getting one of those.

How are you all?

LOL...love that story! I'm so glad you're working in a nursing home. I think it's a job you have to love, and those patients (and their families) are sooo lucky to have you, though they probably don't tell you that nearly often enough.

$600?!?!? Are you shitting me? Youch.

So glad all else is going well!! It's great to "hear" that in your "voice." :)
