Egads.

I have been feeling like CRAP lately. Super tired, kidney's hurting like a sonofabitch. I figure it's yet ANOTHER kidney infection. Finally, I had about an hour of free time yesterday and dropped off some urine at my (new!! God I love her!!) GP's office. Her nurse called me at work to say my urine was clear. Nope, no kidney infection. Plus, I had to break down and take a laxative this week because I couldn't poop for days. I felt like I had to poop, but COULD NOT. Now, I've always had trouble with the plumbing, but this was WAY worse than usual. The laxative helped bunches, though. (sporadic intervals of very small poops. Hey, it was SOMETHING, and SOMETHING is better than nothing.) Whew!

Anyway, I am SO sore in the mid-section. My back, my bowels, and my abdomen. Last night I was getting into the shower and decided to press around on my tummy. It was SUPER hard. So you know, I'm not one of them "skinny girls" I've got about 50 extra pounds. I don't own a scale and my pants have been a little tighter lately. So, I'm pressing around on my belly, and it's all hard right above my pubic bone. After pressing around even harder, I get the picture that there is SOMETHING FOREIGN in there. And it is large. And it hurts a little when I do that.

Maybe one day, if I have another spare hour, I'll make an appointment with my OBGYN to recheck that fibroid. Something tells me it's GROWING.

Girl, you need to get that checked out! I read this a while ago hoping you'd update with what the doctor said... ummmm... c'mon... do I have to come to Kansas to take you? This could possibly be your ticket... if it is getting bigger they'll have to go in and investigate and just tell them to clean up the endo while they're at it... I will come to KS if I have to....

Katie,
I would totally update... if I had time to see a doctor! But here's a look at my weekly schedule:
Monday- ACLS class 8-4. Then come home and study for Tuesday's test.
Tuesday- Class 8:30-12. Come home, eat, change, work 2-10.
Wednesday- Exactly the same as Tuesday.
Thursday- Clinicals 6:30a-5:30p
Friday- sometimes clinicals (see Thursday) or Morning Off! then work 2-10.
See? I am a busy freaking person.

But I see what you're saying. I think it would force him to do something about it. On the other hand, I'm terrified that he'll say the BIG H WORD. One woman I work with just had one and another is scheduling one today. Both of them have fibroid tumors, and both of them had to have hysterectomies. I am FUCKING SCARED that he'll say that.

OH, but my sweetie-pie hubby says to let him know what day the appt is and he's coming with me. He's tired of me getting pushed around in there! How's that for a man!

Love ya!
Stephanie
